Tying The Knot Tighter

During the first segment of the program today my guest will be Warren Cole Smith - VP of WORLD News Group. Warren has written an article about the Boy Scouts of America and the double-barreled attack they face; one from atheists and the other from homosexual activists. Amoung many other skills, one that the Boy Scouts are noted for is their ability to tie a variety of knots. In this case, it seems the strong moral code that has held the Scouts together for so many years, is begining to unravel.

During the second segment I will speak with Dr. Greg Smalley - executive director of Marriage and Family Formation at Focus on the Family. In this role, he develops and oversees initiatives that prepare individuals for marriage, strengthen and nurture existing marriages and help couples in marital crises. He also serves as a media spokesperson on these matters.

Prior to joining Focus, Smalley worked for the Center for Relationship Enrichment at John Brown University and as President of the National Institute of Marriage. He is the author of eleven books including The DNA of Relationships, The DNA of Parent and Teen Relationships and The Wholehearted Marriage.
