What toTell Your Son

This chapter requires the consecration of every firstborn male among the Israelites, both men and animals. The question we have to ask of every passage is, Why is this here? What does the Holy Spirit want us to see and do that stands out in these verses? The goal of celebrating the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread is not just to re-enact or remember the past, but to teach for the future. Twice in these few verses, Moses tells parents what they are to tell their sons. Parents, you are responsible for the spiritual instruction of your children. Have you told them what the Lord has done for you? Have you told them what the Lord has done for his people? What should you tell your sons?
