Suffering in the Father's plan

The readings in Romans and Corinthians put the struggles and suffering we experience into perspective. While we may not face the overt persecution that many of our brothers and sisters face around the world, and of which the New Testament often speaks, our suffering is nevertheless of a different kind and all so real. We need to be reminded of the faithful purpose of the Father through His Spirit in all of this.
