The Use of Psalms in Public Worship

It may come as a surprise to some believers that God has given commandment to the church to sing the book of psalms. This inspired song book is to be a principle part of the public acts of praise and worship that we bring.

This message while opposing as unbiblical the notion that only the 150 canonical psalms may be used as the vehicle of our worship and praise, does call us to a more abundant use of the psalms as being fitted by the Holy Spirit to provide us with songs that remind us of the whole range of revealed truth as well as express the whole range of believing experience.
