Prayer and Worship

Prayer and worship are superficial activities for many but God desires, rather, requires, that they should be conducted from the heart of man without guile. In these two presentations given together because of their close correlation, the nature and purpose of prayer is considered along with key related topics such as how, when, and what should we pray. Hindrances to prayer are also discussed.

Worship is so much more than a once or twice a week activity. God intends for it to permeate a Christian’s life 24/7. Once we truly learn what worship is, our lives can never be the same. This teaching seeks to communicate the full spectrum of what worship is, and just as importantly, what it is not. The goal is to impart a holistic view of worship that will take our common human perspective and transform it into a God honoring one.
