“Not Good!” Covenant Love and Communion

Man was created to live in communion with God. Man was created also to live in communion with other creatures. Man is a covenantal servant son who is made to be a relational being and to love and serve God and his neighbor. After God establishes a covenant with man through His authoritative Word, God establishes the covenant of marriage through His authoritative Word between one man and one woman, granting a blessing, and giving commands on how to live before God in this world. This week we will see established in Genesis 1-2 the first church and the first marriage service. This marriage is a picture of Jesus Christ and His relationship to His Church that displays God's covenant love and communion.
