A Right View of Christ

Pre-communion service.

In view of the Lord's Supper we learn,

• true believers can contradict themselves very badly. The Lord's Supper is for very imperfect believers. Our sins do not invalidate the truth of God's promises.
• we must seek to come with a right view of Christ. We must come with a believing view of his sufferings and death which begets true sorrow for sin and joy in Christ Jesus who died for our sins according to the Scriptures.
