Encourage One Another

When the Apostle Paul says 'encourage one another' and 'build each other up,' what are we being asked to do? And what is the 'end game' of encouragement?

The scripture illustrates that encouragement is the communication of God's truth in love in ways that strengthen members of the body of Christ to go on following God's will. It's pointing people to Jesus, to what He has done on the cross and in the resurrection, and what this means for us in focussing us on our eternal hope as we navigate life's challenges and opportunities.
