Christ The Only Mediator

Most of Christendom believes in some form of Cyprian's dictum, extra ecclesiam nulla salus (there is no salvation outside the church), by virtue of the fact that their doctrine affirms that either the gospel or the sacraments are instrumental in imparting eternal life to God's people. Elder Gowens explains why this is an erroneous position to take and why the Primitive Baptists instead defend the biblical position - extra Christo nulla salus - there is no salvation outside of Christ.
