It’s been troubling to watch over the past several years as radical Islamic groups like ISIS and Boko Haram have gained strength, bringing violence with them in numerous places around the globe. With their ascendancy has come a sharp rise in Christian persecution. And too often, the American government has turned a blind eye, as persecution has flourished under governments supported by the administration. Yet we Christians are commanded to remember our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted worldwide as members of the same body.
