This is the type of chapter we usually skim over in our routine Bible reading. The names and the "and he died"s and the years sometimes make the eyes roll back in our heads. But if you dig a little bit there are precious jewels to mine which ultimately point us to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Take the time to listen and hear this chapter talked about in a way you probably never have.
