God Will Provide...Trust Him!

God tested Abraham by calling him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. God wanted to know if Abraham trusted Him to keep His promise of descendents and if Abraham loved Him more than his only son. Abraham was obedient to God's command and trusted that God would provide. Through this experience, Abraham grew in his knowledge of God as the One who provides. Our knowledge of God also grows through our experiencing Him at work in our lives, just like Abraham did.
