The Death of Death

Telos: To stir a heart of gratitude in the congregation with the respect to the death of Christ by which he abolished death on our behalf.

The Lord helping us, this morning, we must study this glorious statement as we prepare to come to the Table of the Lord.

There are six propositions in the statement. We may enumerate them as follows:

1. God is our Salvation.
2. Of all the Gospel Blessings, Holiness is Key
3. Salvation is by Sovereign Grace
4. Plan of Salvation unfolds in the Gospel
5. End of Death was Bought by Christ
6. Life & Immortality is also brought by Christ
