Zephaniah shouted to a world that was polytheistic, that worshipped many gods. You and I also live in a world and culture that is polytheistic, although the politically correct term is "pluralistic." Pluralism requires not only that we tolerate and respect other religions, but ultimately that we embrace many religions and many gods as equally valid. No one faith can be true according to the wisdom of our age. We need to learn from Zephaniah how to speak to the people around us. There is only one God of all nations. There is only one Law for all nations. There is only one people of God from all nations...
