The Word of Anguish

"My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?" is the most profound word of anguish that could be spoken. We see this as spoken by one whom God has created as found in the Psalms.

But this anguished question is even more heart-rending coming from the God-man, the Lord Jesus Christ as He hangs on the cross, counted as cursed on our behalf.
