Examining Psalm 45, we find a love song written with great admiration of our King, Jesus Christ. This love song is unique among the songs of the Psalter. It describes the greatness of our King and the benefits the Queen has because of her relationship to Christ. The Queen is the Church, and the psalm encourages our devotion to our King.
