From Persecutor to Preacher

The apostle Paul continues his personal testimony in his defense of the Gospel emphasizing he received it from God directly. The message he had persecuted people for believing concerning Jesus Christ is now the message he was preaching and defending. The truthfulness of the message was confirmed being the same as that proclaimed by the first apostles personally taught and commissioned by Christ. Considering the life of Paul, the transforming power of the Gospel on his life, and his commitment to the work God had assigned him gives believers today encouragement, exhortation, and instruction for living useful and godly lives.
