What Really Happened in Genesis 3? You think you know, don't you

Last week pastor Chronister started to get into Noah as it relates to Romans 5:14 and 1 Timothy 2:14. This all relates to the Genesis 3 mystery. What happens in Genesis 3 really takes a lot of study, as it is perhaps the 2nd most difficult mystery to understand in all the Bible.

So who would take this on… in a Sunday sermon no less? Well, we have a pastor who is willing to take on the hard subjects and he feels like it is his duty to teach it to this little band of misfits… and we are honored to share it with all of you on the Internet. I’ll try to give you a short introduction to this sermon so you’ll have an idea what you’re getting yourself into when you listen to our pastor.

So what happened with Adam and Eve and Satan (and don’t forget the angles) in that event in Genesis 3? We’re studying Genesis 2:8 thru Genesis 3:24. In here is an amazing amount of information that most people don’t even realize how much is in here. Pastor Chronister says to think of it like a puzzle. You have a crime that’s been committed, with a trial, a prosecution, there’s a sentencing, and a response of the defendants to the sentencing… etcetera, etcetera.

That’s what our pastor is going to get into. So… if you’re inclined to study along with us, do so with the understanding that you’ve been warned. This sermon is not for any who want the quaint, just so, stories of Adam and Eve. But… if you do listen, you’re in for a treat. You’re going to find out a little of what really happened, without all the seeker sensitive stuff most churches think you need to hear these days.
