In Romans 15:1-13 Paul exhorts us to live for God’s glory by giving 3 commands and 2 prayers.
I. The strong must bear with the weak (v. 1).
II. Everyone must please his or her neighbor (v. 2).
A. The example of Christ informs us (v. 3).
B. The Scriptures instruct us (v. 4).
Paul prays for harmony among believers that leads to God-glorifying worship (vs. 5-6).
III. Everyone must welcome one another for the glory of God (v. 7a).
A. Because Christ welcomed us, both Jew & Gentile, for the glory of God (v. 7b-9).
B. Because the Scriptures predict it (vs. 9b-12).
Paul prays for lives abounding in hope (v. 13)
