From Jerusalem to Babylon

This week on “Encounter God’s Truth,” Dr. John Whitcomb begins an important new series called “Daniel the Prophet—Triumph in Exile.”
Over the next several months, we will go verse-by-verse through the incredible prophetic book of Daniel, which gives powerful lessons from the lives of Daniel and his friends, along with some of the most specific and vital prophecies in all of Holy Scripture. Daniel 1 gives us the background to this amazing story.
Following this introductory message, host Wayne Shepherd asks our teacher to explain what Christ meant in Matthew 24:15 when He commanded us to “understand” the book of Daniel.
