God's Strength Perfected in Our Weakness

God delights in using weak things to display His mighty strength. Specifically, He works His power through humble, contrite hearts. God resists us when we are proud and self-confident. His power and His grace come to us when we humbly admit and confess our true condition - that we are incredibly weak and can do nothing apart from Him.
