Forever Forgiven or Never Forgotten

If you get a chance listen to the "Anatomy of Forgiveness" and the "Biology of Forgiveness" messages in this Amos series. They will help you understand the dynamics of forgiveness and the beautiful fruit that flows from it.

We closed out our time in Amos considering the 5 visions found in Amos 7 through Amos 9 and the role Amos played as a Gap Man before the Lord.

We also dig in the last portion of Chapter 9 and tie it together with the wonderful truths found in the Newer Testament books of Acts 15:12-18 and 1 Corinthians 3:5-8.

James, in Acts 15, takes the message of Amos and applied it to Jesus and the expectation of His far reaching and redeeming grace. He could see that Jesus is the tabernacle of David and how the grace of God and the gift of righteousness in Christ was being eternally applied to the many sons of glory that Jesus, by the grace of God, had tasted death for… and he said this work had always been known by God and now He was making it known to us.

Paul helps us with how the prophetic picture of the reapers would be overtaken by the plowman and the treader by him who sows seed (Amos 5:13) in 1 Corinthians 3.
