Lamenting the Lost

What does it mean to be lost? How did Joab blame David for showing his sorrow over his son’s death? Is it right to lament the lost that have not salvation? Did Job sin with his mouth at God’s providence? Was there another way for God to save sinners? Did Christ have compassion on those that would not come to Him?
