A Fearful Expectation of Judgment

In light of the coming Day of God when Jesus will return to complete the saving of His people (9:28), all will face Him in judgment (Rom 4:10; 2 Cor. 5:10; 1 Cor. 3:13-17).
Paul presents a sobering reality. If anyone continues to sin with a high hand (Num. 15:30, 31), there awaits him a fearful expectation of judgment. If Jesus came to save us from sin, how can a saved person keep on sinning?
