01-Exodus in Romans
Series NC Articles Volume 05
195
My chosen title for this article, I confess, might well give the
impression that I am writing on an abstruse topic, abstruse in the
sense of being obscure, technical, of interest only to those with a
mind bent on theological niceties, and of little or no practical
interest or concern to the ‘ordinary' – how I hate that word in this
context – believer. This, to say the least, would be unfortunate,
for nothing could be further from the truth. Indeed, the
consequences of going wrong on this subject are horrendous –
and horrendous for all men, not just believers.
I make my case by reference to the work of N.T.Wright, the
arch-advocate of the New Perspective.
