Malachi points out that their worship is faulty. God finds no pleasure in faulty offerings.
Malachi also points out that their relationships are terrible, especially their husband and wife relationships. God takes no pleasure in those who mock and abuse marriage.
Malachi pointed out that their theology was decaying. When your heart is not right with God, your theology will change to accommodate your sinfulness. God delights in truth, not bad theology.
Malachi's fourth accusation: When your heart is not right with God, your handling of your resources will not be right either. The most obvious place where the mishandling of resources is visible is in your giving to God.
