Joshua had led God's people into the Promised Land and they had, with God's help, gained the ground. There was more work to be done, however. The remaining inhabitants had to be driven out lest, by their remaining, they become a snare to Israel. Why did Israel fail to follow the Lord's will in this matter? This message examines the perils of choosing pragmatism over obedience.
