Written on the Heart

When God made man, He wrote His law on the heart of man - that internal moral compass given to each individual. This causes the Gentiles to "do the things of the law" even though they were ignorant of the written revelation. They did more with less. By contrast, the Jews had the same moral sense, plus the massive written revelation of the Old Testament, plus Jesus in their midst expounding the true meaning of the law. The Jews did less with more. This all comes out on judgment day, when Christ will return to judge all men, laying bare the secrets of the heart.
