Psalm 112 Meditation

God has given us the Psalms to praise Him, but also they are fitted to our needs. Psalm 112 is a wonderful description of a godly man. Christian -- this is what you are becoming. It is not merely what you should be. It is what you are, to some degree, and what you certainly shall be. This is by the sanctifying grace of God, given you because you have been purchased by the blood of Jesus. Because He has been perfectly holy, and is perfectly described by this Psalm, He makes sure this is increasingly a word portrait of -- YOU!
