The Foundation of World Missions

"Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God." So said the Reformed Baptist minister William Carey to the Northampton Association of Churches on April 1, 1792; and the rest is history. Our God has a heart to reach the nations for His Beloved Son, and we have a part to play in the fulfillment of His eternal purposes. From our text we learn about the foundation upon which Christ's Great Commission is built: the Absolute Sovereignty of Jesus Christ.
