APPLICATIONS
God is not a passive observer in the proclamation of the Gospel.
The new birth always precedes repentance (Ac.5:31; 11:18; 1 Ti. 2:25) and faith (Ac. 18:27; Eph. 2:8; Phil, 1:29; 1 Jn. 5:1).
The irresistible call of the Gospel always effects faith (Ro. 8:30; 1 Co. 1:2) and holy living (2 Ti. 1:9; 1 Pe. 1:15-16).
