Today, Pastor Don Green continues our series, A Biblical Perspective on Church History, emphasizing the need for the centrality of Scripture in understanding it all. Last time, Don also directed our attention to the principle of Providence, which runs through all historical events. Don pointed out that it was no accident that the gospel took root at the time of the Roman Empire, during which relative peace reigned, great roads made getting around easier, and the common Greek language allowed the transmitting of ideas to more people. Today, we’ll focus on the preeminence of Christ.
