A Song of War and Worship

46

The first thing the Israelites did after experiencing the redemption of the Lord through the Red Sea was to break out in song. Exodus 15 is known as the Song of Moses and Miriam and sometimes as the Song of the Sea. The subject matter of this song, how the sovereign God hurled the horse and its rider into the sea, is never to be forgotten, neglected or dismissed by future generations. This song is quoted in more than a dozen psalms and also by the prophets. We will all sing this song in heaven (Rev 15:1-4)...

[NOTE: the first few minutes of the introduction were not recorded and the recording begins with Rev 15:1-4.]
[NOTE 2: Pastor Ray has laryngitis.]
