Christian Relationships In Church Part 2

We must be lead of the Spirit in order to show the kind of love to our brethren that God requires. This type of love is not a natural trait of us as fallen creatures because we are by nature, led by our emotions rather than the spirit of God. We are not useful to the Kingdom if we are being ruled by emotions. We may find ourselves looking for issues to thrust ourselves into, offering council on situations we know nothing about, or zealously rebuking sin without offering a path to restoration.

It is God's intention that the Church should labor constantly to ensure all the members are useful to the Body by helping them remove the burden of sin in their lives. This action requires a correct attitude, a complete understanding of personal weakness, and a discerning spirit. These things are only possible when we are lead by the Spirit.

This evening we will look at the list of instructions Paul gave the Galatians so they to could ensure that there church body was an instrument the Lord could use for His Kingdom.
