A Sign Pointing To The Deity Of Jesus

Jesus proves Himself to be god on earth by healing the paralytic man whose sins He had already forgiven. The religious elite called him a blasphemer, the common people were amazed and glorified God for the miracle they had seen. But neither the religious elite, in their rejection, nor the crowds in their awe and praise, saw Jesus for who He is and why He came. The Son of Man came to provide the forgiveness for sins, not to provide temporal benefits. It is not enough to be amazed at God's power or even to give Him credit for His greatness, one instead must see Jesus as the forgiveness for the sins they know they have committed against the Holy God that they will stand before condemned.
