Christ Made Unclean for his Elect

After the synagogue incident, Jesus goes to Simon's house. He is asked to heal Simon's mother-in-law, which he does. Afterwards, he heals the crowd that had gathered outside the house. He prays, then moves on to other towns. One encounter is recorded: the healing of a leper. We finish by looking at how this pictures the exchange in our conversion. Jesus Christ becomes unclean for his people, while they are cleansed, pronounced such, and are admitted into the society of the kingdom of God forever. Such love!
