Loving Jesus = Child of God

The defining characteristic of a Christian is a love of Jesus. This is not some feeling that is disconnected from our lives. Love of Jesus is evidenced by how we really live. A self-profession of love of Jesus without the actions that will naturally flow from it is hollow, has one on the broad road that leads to destruction, and will result in Jesus saying on that day, “Depart from me. I never knew you.”
