More on the Millennium Pt. 3, Shock and Awe Sudden Finality

More on the Millennium continued (Pt. 3). We continue with a "parenthesis" in Revelation 20 to study the millennium from an a-millennial or "realized millennial" interpretation, by use of excerpts mainly from Jay Adams' book, The Time is At Hand. Tonight, we particularly look at the continuity of the Church, Christ's one Bride whom He prepares to be ready (as a whole Body) at His Second Coming for Her. When He comes for her, He takes Her home forever. There is no delay in between. There is no 2-phased process, but one final event on the last day of resurrection combined with judgment over all (sheep and goats). Matthew 25:1-13 is given attention on this tonight (the virgins who weren't ready when the bridegroom came). The fact that Jesus says in the Gospels (as do the epistles) that He will come like a thief in the night explains the emphasis on sudden finality to human history at Christ's Second Coming with the immediate entrance after the Last Day Judgment into eternity for all. This continual systematic study of other Scriptures must interpret the thousand years in Revelation 20 within its context of the chapter and chapters and the rest of the Bible.
