Essence of Paul's Conversion

The essence of Paul's conversion (and any true conversion) was, 'He....was pleased to reveal His Son in me.' Paul already was
intellectually acquainted with much about Jesus. Yet, he remained unbelieving and a persecutor of the church. Upon Christ be revealed in Paul, his life was transformed. Revelation about Christ may remain a dead letter. What is needed is an inner penetration, illumination and quickening of the truth of a whole Christ by the Spirit.
