Pilgrims Crossing the River of Death

The Pilgrims now must face two more trials -- the River of Death and their entrance into the Celestial City. After spending time in Beulah Land, both Pilgrim and Hopeful now must go through the River. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death, and every Christian will go through that trial, unless he/she is alive when the Lord returns (Elijah and Enoch being types and examples of that).

The lesson includes an exposition of 2 Corinthians 5:1-9, then, we take an excursion into the second part of Pilgrims Progress to show how Bunyan expanded this idea of 'The River of Death' for the Pilgrims that made it to the end of their journey in that allegory.
