Jacob's Prophecy Concerning His Sons

Jacob lived to an old age, and was able to bless each of his children before he died.

However, Reuben forfeited the birthright and double blessing -- just as Simeon and Levi did.

Judah received the blessing -- Messiah would come through his line. Joseph received the double blessing, gaining two tribes in Israel (Ephraim and Mannaseh).

There is much history and application in the sermon, and the long-lasting effects of sin are shown. But, in the midst of sorrow, the grace of God shines through.
