Love & Retaliation

If what we've heard till now seems hard, Jesus goes on further to show what it means for His disciples to show love, even at times when we are slighted, insulted, wrongly accused, hated and even persecuted.
This is a love that truly is other worldly. A radical love that is willing to give up its rights and sacrifice self.
A love that is indeed impossible for men and women by ourselves, but a love that, as Bob pointed out last week, can only proceed from a holy, loving God who is able and willing to fill us to overflowing in Christ.
