The Prophetic Word

We Christians base our entire lives and eternal destinies on what God has revealed in his Word. Therefore, Peter lets us know that the authors were eyewitnesses of what they recorded, and more importantly they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. And since God's Word is inspired, it is thus inerrant, infallible, and authoritative.
