The Purchase Price of Wisdom

"Why is there in the hand of a fool the purchase price of wisdom, since he has no heart for it?" Proverbs 17:16 Everything it takes to take possession of wisdom is within the control of a fool. They just use what it takes on everything but seeking God and His wisdom.

Why?

They have no heart or appetite for the Lord or His ways. Their heart must be changed. What it takes is within their grip but their heart is grip by something else.

"Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding" (Proverbs 23:23).

We are taught, warned and specifically directed by God's word to "pay the price to GAIN [it], live to GLORY in [it], sacrifice whatever it cost to GUARD [it] and do whatever is necessary to GIVE [it] away."

Whatever the Cost...

Paying the price for the pricelessness of His presence, perception and purpose in the here and now.

There are those who are the good people of this world. Keep in mind how I phrased this… "who are of this world." These are the kinds of people that think about others and do what they do to help others — the best they know how. But in reality or I should say from God's standards, there is none good. The real problem is that their acts of goodness only relates horizontally. Meaning it's good based on how humanity reckons and evaluates good and goodness, without a relationship with Jesus or factoring God's view on them or life. This goodness, is good, to a degree, but only in the sense that it helps and aids another human, but the person is still not acceptable, therefore, they help other people… for other people and the best of their communities.
