1038 He is Still Coming Back Pt-5

This message considers why Jesus told us all to watch and the difference it makes.
From the time that Jesus told Peter, James, John and Andrew privately on the Mount of Olives to be watching for His return literally billions of people have believed that Jesus will be coming back in their life time. So much so that after Jesus ascended up into Heaven all those standing there continued to watch as though He was coming back while they waited, see Acts 1:11. At that point they had no understanding of how future events would unfold. For us it is much clearer now. Jesus will make a total of three trips to Earth. The first He came as the Savior, second He will come secretly to take all the Saints and third He will come with back boldly with the Saints as King of Kings to rule and reign for a thousand years.
The hard part for us is waiting because we are God's children and like children we are impatient and we want Him to come now. God anticipates this event quite differently much like a farmer anxiously awaits harvest time.
