The Syrophoenician Woman ( A Gentile )

Today the Rev Foster starts a new subject in the Marks Gospel series. In the reading we see that the Saviour moves northward in Israel and seeks out this Gentile woman. The woman comes and fall at the feet of Christ asking him to cast a devil out of her daughter. In this sermon we see that there was many demons in Israel. This was due to the lack of preaching in Israel. It had been 400 years since Israel had a preacher, The Prophet Malachi. This shows us that when the gospel is removed that the devil wastes no time in taking over that place which the gospel previously had....
