God's Law is not Against the Promise of God, but Serves the Interests of the Gospel

- God's law is not against the promises of God? (v. 21).
A. The law could not bring life otherwise righteousness would have been given by the law (v. 21).
B. The law confines all under sin from among which believers would look to the promise (v. 22). - God's law serves the interests of the Gospel (v. 23-25), kept us under guard till faith was revealed (v. 23).
A. The law kept us under guard till faith (Christ) was revealed (v. 23).
B. The law was the tutor of faith whereas Christ was the embodiment of faith (v. 24).
C. The law is no longer needed as a tutor, because we now have the Holy Spirit who has written the law in our hearts (v. 25, cp. Heb. 10:16).
