Replaying It Over and Over

Seek the best… therefore, love and make every effort to nip things in the bud before they bloom into a bigger issue than what it is. Be a difference maker and not a divisive monster who separates and divides friends, family and foes with nonsense and needless news.

"He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates friends." Proverbs 17:9

"Also do not take to heart EVERYTHING people say, for fear you dwell on your servant cursing you. For MANY times, also, your own heart knows quite well that even you have cursed others." Ecclesiastes 7:21-22

The principle applies to the fact that you have cursed others but you still care for and serve them, and you have moved on from the reason why you said what you said. Well, don't camp out on the fact that you over hear someone running you down... they'll move on too, but you need to pick up camp and leave that thought before they do. If you don't, you'll be prone to drive the stakes down deep and get stuck on what they said... Pr. 29:12

This advice will help us head off taking what people say to seriously and encourage us to shift our focus on what God has said about us, Himself and His will. It's natural to focus on the negative, but it takes a supernatural word to live a supernatural life... be blessed!
