News... Worth Trusting and Living

Good News From Our Good God

FAITH is the connector that unites us to God and binds us to His message, which is already living and powerful and sharp and becomes profitable/beneficial/helpful to everyone who believe.

God's news transfers its life to me.
God's news produces its results/effect in me.
God's news furnishes its wisdom through me. ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Remember this: The word of God is ONLY good news for them that that trust... (Micah 2:7 ; Hebrews 4:2)

The difference between good news and an unprofitable message is entirely connected to ones position with the news itself. Faith either connects us to the news or the lack of faith hinders the news from being profitable to us. Therefore, faith, and the connection it makes, is the difference between hearing good news or news that has no profit to someone when it's heard.

Faith hears and receives and rejoices and obeys and honors and celebrates the news it sees and agrees with from God. This allows the news to be profitable and good and alive and able and active in those who trust God and His news.

You take the personal connection away... you take the profit away. And the living, powerful and sharp word of God becomes dead, powerless and dull to the faithless. Remember this: God's redeeming and guiding grace ONLY responds to faith. Rest is found in God's grace... and God's redeeming and guiding grace ONLY responds to faith.
