A Troubled Question, A Profound Answer
128
Life is full of mysteries, happenings and wonders that will never fail to put a question in our minds and on our lips. Life is about uncovering truths and unmasking lies. Therefore asking questions is an important life skill. Sometimes, the questions we ask go far beyond their immediate practical concerns. This pursuit for knowledge, for truth, when it especially concerns spiritual things is to be highly commended. Troubled, and trembling, the Philippian Jailer asks one of the most important questions that any man or woman can ever ask. In this sermon, I look at what he implied in his question, and the profound answer he received from Paul and Silas.
